Jacquelyn Shair, LPC-S
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with more than twelve years of experience, I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, PTSD, and behavioral concerns. I also have specialized experience supporting individuals and families affected by domestic violence, addiction, sexual concerns, and other complex emotional and behavioral challenges.
My approach is compassionate, supportive, and individualized. I believe therapy is not a “one size fits all” process, and I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances. Drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches to help clients develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and create meaningful change. I work collaboratively with clients to identify practical strategies, build on existing strengths, and support lasting growth.
